A Pentagon spokesperson told Gay Star News a statement will be issued on Manning’s status later on today.
Earlier this year, Manning – who is serving a 35 year sentence at Fort Leavenworth – admitted she has tried to commit suicide.
This was punished with a sentence in solitary confinement.
