Actor tweets: ‘That’s not going to get me down’
Colton Haynes is learning more and more about the price of growing fame.
For example, when burglars break into your house and steal stuff, it gets reported on TMZ.
The former Arrow and Teen Wolf star took to social media over the weekend to acknowledge that his Hollywood Hills home had been burglarized.
‘Even though someone broke into my house and stole a bunch of my stuff, that’s not going to get me down,’ he said on Snapchat.
The openly gay Haynes is very prolific on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat but seemed annoyed that the burglary had been made public.
‘I don’t understand why it’s necessary that my personal info is on TMZ,’ he tweeted.
TMZ reported that the thieves took thousands of dollars of electronics and getting in by smashing open a lockbox outside the garage.
They took between $5,000 and $6,000 worth of property including a television and a laptop computer.
Haynes, 28, has seen his profile rise since coming out publicly earlier this year.
He most recently appeared on Fox’s Scream Queens and has a role in the upcoming feature film Rock That Body.
My home was broken into a few days ago & alot was stolen. I am ok. I don't understand why it's necessary that my personal info is on TMZ
