Broadway Bares revealed its new motto – and this year, they’re taking audiences back to school.

On 18 June the more than 150-strong cast of Broadway’s hottest dancers – male and female – will take over the Hammerstein Ballroom once more.

Although the show is still a good seven weeks away, BCEFA released a trailer to not just reveal the motto but also whet our appetites.

It shows the cast taking all the classic, stereotypical high school roles, from jocks to nerds and band geeks.

As students of Strip U, the cast will put a burlesque spin on academia – including accidentally burning off their clothes in chemistry and life drawing in art class.

Of course, the guys and gals are not just showing off their buff bodies because they can.

Now in its 27th year, Broadway Bares is a firm favorite in the calendar of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA) fundraising effort.

Founded in 1988, the charity has raised more than $285 million for critically needed services supporting people living with HIV and AIDS.

Last year’s Broadway Bares performance alone raised $1,482,724 for BCEFA.

And just to give you an idea of what you’re missing out on, here’s a clip of last year’s strip extravaganza.

Under the motto On Demand it boasted pumped up politicians, chiseled reality show contestants, and a Game of Thrones-inspired number.

Tickets for this year’s show are already on sale, starting at $50.
