Blond hair and blue eyes may what some consider to being an angelic look, but this teen is being charged with a devilish homophobic crime.
Austin Richardson, 18, was arrested yesterday in connection with a paintball attack at Stockton gay venue Paradise Club in northern California.
Two people were hit with paintballs as they were leaving the club. The front of the building was splattered with paint, said KCRA.
He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and hate crime, the Stockton Police Department said.
The attacks happened around the same time as the Orlando shootings on 12 June.
Two other suspects, Branden Staples, 19, and a 16-year-old boy, were also arrested in connection with the attack.
