A dance demo of a teen boy’s take on Meghan Trainor’s ‘Me Too’ went viral on Facebook for good reason.
And when it’s his turn to show the class what he’s got, the Oregon boy slay-ed the routine with all fierceness and sassiness, and that final leg extension at the end left everyone gagging for days!
Watch it here:
The video reached over 2.5 million views in just three days.
Comments on Facebook are mostly positive, with people praising the boy for embracing his feminine side.
‘Any woman who says anything negative about the way this little boy moves his body is jealous because they can’t even compete,’ said one user.
Another remarked: ‘Boy, Girl, Man, Woman, Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Transexual, Pansexual or whatever the person dancing may be, who even cares?? Dance doesn’t need a title. Just enjoy it! So many negative, shallow minded, judgemental people out there. It’s disgusting. If you don’t like something then move along.’
A user who’s clearly a huge fan commented: ‘He is amazing full stop!! Sick of closed minded people putting people down for how they chose to express themselves! This kid is fierce and is clearly loving it, if this was my son/brother/nephew etc I would be proud! Too much negativity going on! He will seriously go places in the dance/performance industry.’
While this guy wrote: ‘He is awesome, but so feminine and girly, speaking as an international choreographer, he needs some good male dancer role models… That kind of talent is getting wasted.’
Well, haters gonna hate.
Can we just stick to this rule: ‘If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say it.’
